"One of Music City's most innovative talents has been Sandy Mason. The writer of such classics as "When I Dream" and "Two Pina Coladas" has a style and an outlook all her own. Over the years, she has released several well-received albums, and she's back for another round with this fine project. The set kicks off with the melodic "The Garden," which shines the spotlight on her blues-heavy voice. Then there are cuts like "Just A Dream" that have somewhat of a 70s vibe to them. She gets in an Everly Brothers-mode with "Simple Songs," and then turns chanteuse on the appealing "Heaven's Door."One of my favorite cuts on this album is her beautiful song "If I Hadn't Loved You." It's one that proves that for you to love anyone….it has to start from within. You never know, there just might be another "When I Dream" on this disc….It's well worth investigating!"
