Dedicated, Hardworking, Talented, Reinventing

Horseshoes & Handgrenades is Cincinnati Metal. Pride in what they do and what that represents, is the driving force behind this head turning five-piece band out of Ohio. Formed in 2007 founding members Carl, Josh, and Alex laid the foundation for what defines the music that transcends any genre metal fans have created. Drawing from elements of Speed Metal, Hardcore, Trash, and even Hard Rock. The band fumbled through obscurity, but not aimlessly. With a lot of hard work, through blood sweat and tears they've grown to what is now one of the best bands in the local scene....

If you like your singer to be as monotonous as Nathan Explosion move on…Vocalist Hurt comes through the mix at all times, in all ways. With a mixture of levels ranging from the lowest growls to the ear piercing highs the metal fans crave. Guitarist brothers Alex and Carl deliver blazing riffs with inhuman syncopation, to have impossible riffs dwarfed by this dynamic duo is as common as breathing! Drummer and Necrophiliac Nick uses years experience in both Jazz and Marching Band, but its his love for the macabre and deranged that fuels the metal battery that pumps high octane supercharged American Metal. Jeremy (Little Evil) has been recently recruited to play eerie synth and keys and bone crushing samples to top off the carnage

Since the new line-ups conception in April 2008, they have opened for National Acts: Straight Line Stitch, The Autumn Offering, Bobaflex, Occams Razor, Saint Diablo, Arsis, Pitch Black Forecast, Knives Out, Estuary, and Abigail Williams; and local legends Milkweed and Misery Rising. Also have been featured on the FM radio station WEBN Now, with their full length album in the completed, they are ready to take things to another level.
