Their newest release is 2008's "Respectable Boy." Featuring nine original songs, the album contains all the soaring guitar playing and raucous jamming that fans have come to expect. Elements of improvisation are apparent throughout each composition. The opening rocker "Not This Time" sets the pace, proving once and for all that this is not dinner music. 2010 sees the Bryan James Gatten Band bringing their sound to venues all across the Northeast, including those in New York City, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and more. Bryan James Gatten is joined by Eric Gatten on bass and Chris Brunner on drums; these musicians are the ones who put the "power" in "power trio." Playing live is at the heart of this trio, and each show brings about new surprises for both the audience and the band, courtesy of healthy doses of improvisation throughout.
