Ever since the bands conception in Calgary AB,
Silo has been rockin’ venues across Alberta and British Columbia for the past 3 years. In the fall of 2007, Silo released their first self-titled EP which quickly spread across the Canadian University airways. Their first single, “Let Down” was selected to be part of the rock compilation album “Riot On Sunset Vol. 10,” released in music stores across the infamous “Sunset Strip” and various shops throughout Hollywood, California.
In 2008, Silo reinvented their sound and musical direction. Inspired by the acquisition of two, brilliant new musicians, their new found melodious route not only inspired the band to continue to pour their souls into their music, Silo fans across Canada and the United States continue to light up their MySpace page; reaffirming their decision to get back into the studio and record their new style.
Silo, fresh from recording their latest EP, has a momentous campaign primed for 2009 and beyond. The band continues to write stellar originals, and thrives to bring it all together during their killer live shows. Simply put, Silo is anxiously geared up to discover where exactly this musical ride will take them.

SILO TAKES ON HOLLYWOOD!!
SILO is EXCITED to announce that their new single “NO LINES”, has been invited to join the Rock Compilation Album “RIOT ON SUNSET - VOL. 16”, being released APRIL 27 2009 through the Record Label “272 Records” out of Hollywood California!
The Album will be released to Live365.com, and over 25 radio stations in California. The record will also be distributed for sale to Amoeba Music (Hollywood’s largest and most popular record store) and Amazon.com. It will also be released to 3 of the hottest Rock Shops on Hollywood Blvd, as well as various stores and tattoo shops on Sunset Blvd. and Melrose Ave. They will be giving away free copies of Riot On Sunset-Vol. 16 to their customers as well.
