of Christmas
The atmosphere of christmas portrayed on this cd contains 10 festive songs with international flair. The traditional Jingle Bells is transformed into a melodic jazz composition, Noche de paz (Silent Night) performed in Spanish, Regali dal Ciel (Gifts from Heaven) is an original Italian song speaking about happiness and love, Adeste Fideles (O, Come All Ye Faithful) in original Latin, performed by the chorus "La Gregoriana". Oggi è Natale (Today is Christmas) another original Italian song sending a message that Christmas exists in every country and we need to live together in peace, Tu scendi dalle stelle, (You descend from the stars) this traditonal Italian compsosition performed with an upbeat big band sound, Oh Happy Day, traditional religious song performed with the modern chorus "Pull Lovers", Ninna Nanna, the famous lullabye by Brahms is elegantly reproduced with strings and chorus. This next song L'adorazione dei pastori, (The adorazione of the Sheep-herders, is performed with a church organ, and the last selection is another original Italian composition, Notti di note e stelle, (Nights of stars) speaks of hopes and dreams of starry nites. The result , Atmoshere of Christmas is a unique musical presentation and is dedicated to the spirit of the season.
