The King of Eclectic

Raised in a musical family, Lomone Andrews, AKA  Lamone, grew up listening to greats such as Al Green, Sam Cooke and Marvin Gaye. Since the age of ten he has been mastering the vocal art while, at the same time, keeping his own, unique, style. He has performed alongside such legends as Chaka Khan and Anita Baker and, with the release of his upcoming album "Eclectically Speaking", it looks like Lamone may steal the spotlight. He has managed to avoid being locked in any particular genre and has, instead, created an LP full of tunes celebrating both ends of the music spectrum. For instance, his cover of "Too Much Heaven" is reminiscent of the Motown songs of old, while "Disgusted" contains a rock edge and with "Your Eyes" Lamone shows us a definite club hit. It is not just the music that alters these songs, but, more importantly, Lamone's diverse vocal ability. And with a diversity like this, Lamone will never be contained, as he explains, "Never a follower, always a leader". Listen to Lamone at www.myspace.com/xcluxive1
