Jazz rock icon in the making Todd O splices the hip grooves and smoky-room addiction of jazz into the sizzling energy of rock-n-roll. Jazz and rock have met before but not the way Todd O performs the fusion. A distinct, sublime quality suffuses the music of Todd O, with delicious jazz hooks and solid rock flair joining in transcendent convergence.
Songs, says Todd O, are a vehicle to different planes of the inner person. And with his sewing together of two different genres (and his unique approach to doing so), what new worlds have opened up? The lucky listener rushes to discover! “Music is a portal to other worlds,” says Todd O. “Music makes me feel emotions I never would have otherwise and heightens the emotions I normally feel.” It's a path easily followed by others. Simply listen.
Despite the many differences that abound between people, there is still a special place common to all. And it is reachable thanks to music and the power of talented musicians to manipulate it. When Todd O brings listeners to “other worlds,” he does so with the view to bringing every listener together into a universal realm. Fans from everywhere can revel in the fact that they've journeyed discovered a new place with people they've never met. It's a time-space defying experience. “Music is a beautiful vehicle for bringing people together in this varied human experience we have,” says Todd O.
Todd O has nabbed airplay on both smooth jazz and rock stations around the country. He's served on the board of governors for the Philadelphia Grammy Chapter and directed and staged an original musical for children, “Make Your Mark.” Todd O created a rhythm ensemble for the children at his school; it's played at many a 76ers game. “I bring my mirthful love of life and people to both my singing, composing and my music teaching!” He's also the author of three ebooks and four original jazz-rock albums. Todd O performs live frequently and is at work on a new EP, “All That's Real.”He is currently working with A&R Select, the hottest indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
“Todd O has a magic touch with bringing the best of both worlds – jazz and rock – into a unified whole. It's the same unification he offers his listeners.” - A&R Select

Release: "Pink surprised the crowd grooving to Todd O & The Gman Saturday at Stephanie's (29 S. Main) in Doylestown by hopping onstage to sing a couple of songs with the band. The Doylestown-raised singer, born Alecia Moore, earlier was in the club playing pool with her brother, but then ended up singing 'Me and Bobby McGee' and 'Summertime' with the band featuring Todd Omohundro on keyboards and vocals and Garret Hosler on drums/percussion. 'She brought the house down" Omohundro told us yesterday. 'We were on a high afterwards.' Recently wed to motocross biker Carey Hart, Pink is a huge Janis Joplin fan and is suppossed to portray the late howler one day in a long-delayed biopic to be directed by Penelope Spheeris. Pink, who dropped out of Central Bucks West but later earned a G.E.D, drops her new album 'I'm Not Dead' on April 4. "
