It will be a hard choice for the listener to locate the Hardware Store into a defined musical background. It’s a four men band, bass, guitar, voice and drums, simple and raw in life as in the music they create: simple, easy, crafted as immediate, hard-to-forget melodies that will amaze you for the charge and pace they have; raw, expectation less, patiently waiting that the creative moment happens, that the drive relieves, that the shaping urgency appease. And while jumping to the fifties, a flying visit to dear old rock ‘n roll, they treat their selves with a brought-back-to-life Doors blues, without despising lounge elements, so actual today.

Members’ musical citizenships are extremely different, while Fabio and Steve are definitely influenced by jazzy and bluesy sounds, Blackmamba calls them to order with that waving “bastaso” pleasantly intrusive bass. These grooves will pester you for a looong time. Last but not least Mauro’s voice, wisely molded, gives shape to details, summons colors while words describe surreal worlds, dreamy, but in some ways, very close to reality. Out of Service has been composed and recorded in less than two months, following a generative impulse, an uncontrollable creative eruption, and still many ideas, songs, riffs are floating around them. To these a name and a dress will be given as they will gather again in Sicily. What else? Listen, listen and listen them again and again. If you need more.. than just rock ‘n roll.. get in the Hardware Store!

Biography: The band was born in July 2007 in Messina, Sicily Italy, formed initially by Mirko Miceli (Bass), Saverio Tavano (Drun) and Fabio Vita (Guitar), gathered by the need to abstract reality in music. In a little room, lost in the middle of Messina's hills, the first songs were born. Shortly after, Mauro Cavarra (Singer) joins the band and from now on things start to work out.

In less than two months 4 of the 7 songs contained in Out of Service, the band’s (now officially the Hardware Store) first promo , are composed and recorded .
While the composing work was going great, the members are forced to separate, but the four are firmly determined not to let the Hardwares disappear. Since Mauro's departure, they communicate through the net, sharing songs, riffs, ideas to hold the band together despite of the distance.

In December January 2007 2008, the band reunites to complete the Out of Service project, in wich, together with the finished songs, Arabian Night Jam is included. Shortly after, Fabio also will have to leave the band to go to Autralia, but now distance was no longer a problem, the members were mature enough not to lose sight of their creature. Hardware Store aren’t going to disappear.

The four will gather again in July 2008 in a  wonderful hot sicilian summer to rock- off souls.  From Sicily, to the world, to the sky and beyond.
